The OT Security Program Liaison is responsible for securing industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring threats, and implementing security measures to protect critical infrastructure and industrial networks. The analyst will work closely with IT security teams, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

Threat Monitoring & Incident Response:

  • Continuously monitor OT networks for cyber threats, intrusions, and anomalies.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents affecting ICS/SCADA systems.
  • Perform forensic analysis and root cause investigations for security breaches.

Risk Assessment & Vulnerability Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits of OT environments.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in industrial control systems and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in patch management and security updates for OT devices.

Security Implementation & Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce OT security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, and NERC CIP.
  • Work with engineering teams to integrate security into OT system design.

Collaboration & Training:

  • Coordinate with IT and OT teams to establish secure network segmentation strategies.
  • Provide cybersecurity awareness training for OT personnel.
  • Participate in security exercises, such as tabletop drills and red team engagements.

Required Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in OT operational governance, ICS/SCADA security, or industrial networking.
  • 2+ years of direct responsibility for keeping operational technology available and operational.
  • Demonstrable experience leading projects and driving initiatives in Monday.com.
  • 2+ years of experience in training and curriculum development.
  • 2+ years of experience in a business liaison or leadership role in an IT or technical environment.
  • Specific examples of public speaking and instruction to non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of ICS/SCADA architectures, protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.), and network security.
  • Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Knowledge of common cyber threats targeting OT environments, such as ransomware and supply chain attacks.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and other industrial control systems.
  • Experience leading projects and tracking financials in Monday.com.

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some or all of the following qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), ISA/IEC 62443 Cyber Security Certificate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
