The Conservation & Environment IT Delivery Center (CEDC) is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to serve as a team lead in our Harrisburg Office. If you have the technical, teamwork, and leadership skills to oversee development projects that involve critical business processes, numerous variables, and diverse operational requirements, then we want to hear from you!
In this position, you will be the development lead for all the technical development performed in CEDC’s work for the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR), under the direction of the Division Chief, and be responsible for ensuring that the delivered solutions adhere to the technical architecture defined by the architect, the enterprise architects, and approved by the architecture review committee. Responsibilities include meeting with users to analyze existing business processes and systems; conducting long range planning to ensure that development efforts are made with an eye to continuous improvement; and developing, leading, or participating in Agile techniques and the development of objectives for proposed systems. You will also be expected to provide guidance to contractor staff and collaborate with other team leads within the CEDC to ensure development staff are utilizing the latest software development tools, standard practices, and procedures.
This highly advanced technical work in the analysis, planning, design, development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation of highly complex applications will rely on your professional experience with .Net Framework 4.8 and .Net 8. Your technical abilities, leadership, and communication skills will ensure development projects fulfill the needs of our clients’ business systems, as well as the CEDC initiatives.
