The Role

The Digital Video Audio (DVA) group’s portfolio consists of world-class products across desktop, mobile, web, and cloud catering to professional customers.

As part of the team, this role will be responsible for one or more of the following:

• Developing cloud services for video workflows.
• Integrating backendinfrastructure and cloud services in video applications and enterprise API offerings.

What you'll do:

• Develop new frameworks/features and maintain product features in the full product development cycle from early specs and prototypes to implementation to release and maintenance.
• Participate in product design, estimation, risk analysis, development, and debugging.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to determine project requirements and design specifications.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following common coding conventions and industry norms.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure flawless execution and maintainability.
• Monitor/debug highly available and high-traffic systems that run 24x7 with minimal downtime, load balancing, failure detection, and failover options.
• Work collaboratively with a distributed team of engineers to build shared software components

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the industry
• Proficient in data structures and algorithms
• Experience in the object-oriented language Python or Java
• Experience and familiarity with Backend frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, AWS, Docker, REST, etc.)
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
