RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read Drawing and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product
  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
  • Inspect completed Rack and Module as per drawing
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards
  • Perform Quality Audit
  • Perform necessary transactions in ERP system.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in Electro Mechanical and PCB thru hole and SMT
  • Knowledge of current IPC 610 standard is a must
  • Experience in electronic component identification
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess strong knowledge of the type of equipment and computer programs used adhering to the safety guidelines of the organization.
  • Must know technical documents, manuals, and blueprints to ensure products meet quality standards.

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

Standard Shift, Hours 7:00AM -3:30PM

Our good faith estimate of the wage range for this role is $25.98 - $34.48. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package.

This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
