Job Description:
Location: Portland, Maine
We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Material Handler to support day-to-day warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient product movement, and compliance with safety and food handling standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, order picking, put-away, and cycle counting
Handle products with care, ensuring accurate identification and damage inspection
Apply appropriate labels to items and report any overages, shortages, or damages
Safely and efficiently stack and store materials to prevent damage
Maintain an organized and clean work area according to company policies
Support physical inventory counts and other periodic inventory tasks
Ensure compliance with company GDPs (Good Distribution Practices)
Follow all food safety standards and procedures
Desired Background/Skills:
1+ year of experience operating a forklift
Experience working in freezer or cooler environments is highly desired
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory systems
Good communication and teamwork skills

Location: Portland, ME
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
