Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will join the Identity and Access Management program to be part of Development team responsible to build a robust, secure, and scalable Access Rights Management platform. The system should be able to manage and provision access rights across various applications used by Eurofins. This role requires understanding of different types of access controls and experience in implementing policies using Rego and the Open Policy Agent (OPA) framework.

  • Work closely with product stakeholders to understand the Business Requirements of Access Rights management System.
  • Implement fine-grained access control policies and mechanisms tailored to the needs of business applications
  • Follow coding standards and perform unit testing to ensure the developed/modified code is of good quality.
  • Be part of Scrum team, participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to develop the solution iteratively using agile methodology.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and Rego policies.
  • Collaborate with peer developers to ensure stories are developed as per User Acceptance criteria.
  • Fix code review comments, bugs reported.
  • Maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and policy test coverage.
  • Assist in creating technical documentation and user guides.
  • Understand the design, process workflows and develop the features for the system using Rego and Open Policy Agent (OPA).

Qualifications

  • BE/ B.Tech /MCA or any other equivalent degree.
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • 5 to 8 years experience developing applications preferably in Information Security or Identity and Access Management domains (IAM/ILM/PAM/IGA).
  • Good understanding of access rights management and types of access controls.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and ideally Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in.NET 8 or a more recent version
  • Experience with Rust and additional programming languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with full-stack development or specialization in frontend/backend plus database.
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming(OOP), Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Experience integrating access control in distributed or microservices-based systems using containerization and Kubernetes
  • Ensure secure and auditable access control practices across systems.
  • Experience with Rego and Open Policy Agent (OPA) is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in JSON, XML, RESTful web services, and experience with Azure as a cloud platform.
  • Knowledge of Azure Devops, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing).
  • Ability to work in a highly distributed team setup
  • Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
  • General knowledge of software development tools, agile methodologies, and principles.
