In this role, you provide end-to-end specification management support. Your responsibilities include interpreting technical reports, analyzing the results of assessments of compliance, planning and implementing assigned processes and taking corrective actions when necessary, and developing strong working relationships in your function and cross functionally as well. You are a technological resource and considered an expert in your technical or scientific area.

How you will contribute

You will provide specification management support to ensure compliance with quality standards and provide technical support for specifications processes. You will also complete various projects-either multiple small projects at the same time but with phased deadlines or more complex medium projects. This role requires excellent communication skills because you will work across functions on specifications reviews, approvals and change notifications and talk with suppliers about raw material specifications. In this role, you will offer suggestions on how to improve projects in your area and ensure data consistency and completeness. Some of your other duties will include archiving obsolete specifications, running maintenance and audit programs for specifications, troubleshooting and providing day-to-day user support and training.

This role will support the North America R&D Candy Business by executing commercialization tasks of product development in SAP PLM. Typical deliverables and skill include:

  • Prior experience in SAP PLM
  • Support in creation of New Ingredient specifications in spec management system
  • Creation of Product Formula Recipe and Specification
  • Creation of Finished Good Recipes and Specification
  • Product Nutrition, Label, Artwork reviews
  • Strong collaboration required with R&D Candy Product Developers
  • Communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Regulatory, Food Safety, Quality, Marketing
  • Strong organization and time management skills to balance multiple projects as they progress through various stages of the commercialization process

Qualifications and Skills

  • English fluency is required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PLM spec management (Ingredient spec management,
  • Product/Packaging Recipe and Specification development,
  • Finished Good Specification development would be ideal for this role.
  • Experience in product development, food safety, quality are beneficial as well.

Fixed-term contract for 12 months.
