Performs cardiac diagnostic procedures including EKG, holter electrocardiography, cardiac stress testing and event monitoring. Educates clients as appropriate.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Samaritan Health Services Respiratory Therapy team delivers treatment and diagnostic patient care services to critical and non-critical patients. We serve all age groups and patient populations using evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) of the following required:
Graduate of a cardiac technology program or equivalent EKG Tech experience.
Six (6) months CNA related experience.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
One (1) year experience or training in EKG, holter monitor or cardiac stress testing preferred.
CCT credential preferred.
