Frontend Developer - Digital Experience Hearing, Group IT

As an experienced Frontend Developer in Digital Experience Hearing, you will take part in securing future-proof solutions to leverage the eCommerce Digital agenda for our hearing aid business division.

You will join a team of highly qualified colleagues and apply your skills in defining, building, and maintaining modern online services.

Your responsibility will be to participate in defining and securing the implementation of our website solutions, and help define how we build and set the right framework for the frontend tasks. This involves ensuring an effective development process through close cooperation with essential stakeholders throughout the organization to create user-focused solutions.

The Team you will be part of

Positioned in our office in Warsaw, you will be part of one of the Digital Experience Hearing agile teams, alongside our solution architect, developers, product owner, test engineer and scrum master. Our department, which operates from several locations including Poland and Denmark, specializes in creating high-quality partner portals, CRM applications, and web and e-commerce solutions tailored for our customers and internal teams in sales and marketing.

Group IT supports the entire GN Group, ensuring seamless management and evolution of our IT infrastructure. This is crucial to our mission of propelling the technological evolution in intelligent audio solutions.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Be a member of a great software development team
• Contribute to the advancement of our e-commerce solutions by creating tailored functions and features
• Deliver solutions according to our roadmap
• Manage both solution maintenance and ongoing development projects
• Explore and learn about new technologies and how they can be applied in GN’s current and future digital ecosystem
• Contribute to technical demos that are provided for business stakeholders as well as other technical teams.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have:

• A commercial or technical degree at a bachelor’s or master’s level
• A significant background in frontend development, along with a solid grasp of UX principles
• An experience and solid understanding of the following: NextJS, React, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, TypeScript, Storybook, Redux, unit testing (JEST)
• A willingness to engage with new technologies and frameworks, along with a focus on personal growth within the digital field
• Solid skills in communication (mainly in English) are necessary to clearly and effectively share complex information with tech peers and business stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment
• A spirit of collaboration - a clear ability to contribute constructively in a group setting, sharing knowledge and viewpoints with others to meet shared targets and ensure high-quality deliveries
• Agile mindset with experience working with Scrum or other agile frameworks
• Self-motivation and initiative, good problem-solving skills, inquiring mind, interest in exploring new approaches and tools
• An experience of the following will be beneficial: Sitecore, .NET, WCAGG, OWASP.
