Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for threading materials from the parent roll through various components such as guides, rollers, cutters, and more to produce finished bags. You will start and operate the machine, ensuring consistent operation and quality output. Your role involves diagnosing and correcting machine issues to maintain smooth production flow. Daily maintenance tasks include oiling, cleaning, and other machine upkeep activities. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhering to all GMP and AIB regulations.

Responsibilities

• Thread materials through machine components to produce finished bags.
• Start and operate the machine, adjusting as necessary to ensure quality output.
• Insert and secure shafts into the core of parent rolls.
• Maintain machine operations to achieve high production and quality with minimal waste.
• Diagnose and correct machine problems to maintain production flow.
• Perform daily machine maintenance, including oiling and cleaning.
• Adhere to GMP and AIB regulations at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
• 2+ years of machine operating experience
• Willingness to work night shifts (11pm-7am or 7pm-7am on a 2-2-3 schedule)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr.
