Day Shift: CNC Machinist (Hiring Immediately)

Job Description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, controlling, adjusting, and periodically programming 3, 4, or 5 axis CNC machines, with minimal direct supervision. This role involves performing highly diversified and complex contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping of company parts while ensuring adherence to all safety protocols within the machines and plant.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and control CNC machines with minimal supervision.
  • Perform contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping tasks on company parts.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety features and protocols of the machines and plant.
  • Conduct periodic programming of CNC machines.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Work with tooling aspects of CNC machinery.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with CNC machinery, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic programming and computer skills.
  • Experience with blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in machining and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to understand or learn standard and metric measurements.
  • Experience operating basic machine shop equipment such as drills, mills, lathes, grinders, and saws.
  • Basic knowledge of trigonometry and math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, decimals, and fractions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.61 - $29.61/hr.
