Job Title: Die Setter

Job Description

This position involves working in a stamping facility equipped with large stamping presses. The successful candidate will utilize overhead cranes to move tools to presses, setting them according to the tooling repair and production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Move and install tools in stamping presses using overhead cranes.
• Set tools in presses based on the tooling repair and production schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance tracking and troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety standards in tool setting operations.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing involving measurements and hand tools.
• Experience in roles such as die setter, mold setter, machine builder, welder, fabricator, carpenter, mechanic, machinist, bench hand, or tool repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in machining.

Work Environment

Join a large stamping and welded assembly plant with over 300 employees. This facility offers a dynamic work environment with multiple shifts available: 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Elkton, Michigan.

This is a Direct Hire position. If hired you would be on the companies payroll as their employee.

This is not a Contract or Temporary position.

2nd Shift pay=$19.60/hr

3rd Shift pay= $19.75/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40872.00 - $41000.00/yr.
