Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for temporary level II UT Techs w/ISQ for fall TAR work.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II ultrasonic testing (UT) in accordance with applicable procedures and standards (e.g., ASNT, ISQ).
• Interpret and evaluate UT results to identify indications and assess component condition.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate UT equipment safely and accurately.
• Complete field reports, inspection documentation, and client deliverables in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate findings to clients and Acuren supervisors clearly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements at all times.
• Work independently or as part of a crew in field and facility environments.
• Assist in training and mentoring NDT assistants or Level I personnel, if needed.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Requirements

• ISQ Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification required.
• Level II UT certification in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of UT principles, equipment, and data interpretation.
• Ability to work in industrial environments including refineries, pipelines, and fabrication shops.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel and work varying schedules based on client needs.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required by site.
• Additional NDT certifications (MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Previous experience in rope access, refinery, or turnaround environments.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one if needed.
