Your Impact

You’ll be a part of McKinsey’s Private Capital team in one of our approved footprint locations in Americas. Our practice focuses on serving private market clients, including private equity firms, institutional investors, and their portfolio companies.

You will be a core member of the passionate, energized Global Client Activation (CA) team and work closely with the Client Activation Manager and Global Client Activation Director across North America.

You will provide operational support for CA efforts (e.g., Activate implementation, FPIS analysis, monthly coding review, deployment of our win themes/ offerings and execute targeted actions for internal/external client outreach and events/convenings). You will also provide leadership support (prepare for key practice meetings/events, in specific, orchestration and coordination of the process; create, edit and publish internal broadcasts and internal communications).

You will support Sector JVs on pushing the PC agenda (ensure general practice readiness on JV’s and collateral/meetings thereof, including client meetings if necessary) and provide First Alert and triage requests for CA tools and services and provide guidance to colleagues when requested.

You will support collection of core CA materials (e.g., cases, practice event documents) and coordinate with the global team on maintaining relevant libraries and track CA performance (i.e., client penetration, new intros, whitespace introductions, win metrics, and other key CA metrics agreed with leadership). You will maintain knowledge and data quality in CA infrastructure (e.g., client institution lists, client databases, community information – TRM, distribution lists, people pages; and share with global coordinator in a timely manner).
