This module introduces students to solving marketing and business problems with a practical approach. It gives an overview of the interconnectedness between statistical studies, marketing strategy and consumer behaviours. Students go through the essential skills of retrieving, analysing and using data in a calculated manner. Topics include understanding behaviours and insights, working with data, predicting actions using survival analysis, using segmentation strategically and conducting marketing research and statistical analysis.
Job Description:
1. Facilitate students’ learning and discussion forum on the online platform
2. Conduct weekly virtual lecture or workshop
3. Write assessment brief with detailed analytic marking rubrics
4. Grade and provide feedback on assignments submitted by students
5. Participate in teaching team or assessment meetings
6. Respond to student’s enquiries in a timely manner
7. Provide learning support through individual or small group consultation
8. Prepare marking samples and module report with analysis of student performance
