Scope:

  • Core responsibilities include maintenance & support of the customer projects to manage environmental & product related issues.

Our current technical environment:

  • Software: BY Retail Planning Products (Enterprise Planning, Allocation, Assortment and respective cognitive versions)
  • Tools: PowerShell, Batch scripting, SQL, Basics of C# scripting, GIT, Rest API, OAuth
  • Frameworks/Others: Azure, Control-m, Zabbix monitoring, Git etc.,
  • Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
  • Integration: File based & API Integrations.

What you’ll do/should have:

  • Should have hands-on experience with installing and configuring the product and understand the interactions within various modules.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Azure Basics and preferably should have completed Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification.
  • It is desirable to have a candidate who has worked on oracle to SQL server migration. Candidate should be able to manage the architecture challenges from migrating to SQL + data migration issues.
  • Candidate should possess knowledge of batch scheduling tools used in Azure.
  • It is preferable if the candidate has previous experience of working in any of the cloud technologies and should be familiar with the basic network terminologies.
  • Should have experience in reviewing the integration design and suggest best practices.
  • Should work as a liaison between Consulting, Support and Cloud Services to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements during on-boarding of new customers or during upgrades or patch updates
  • It is mandatory to have good knowledge of Oracle RBDMS concepts and administration. Knowledge of RAC (Real Application Cluster) is an added advantage.
  • Candidate should be able to review an existing application set up and perform an assessment for suitability to upgrade.
  • Understands how JDA solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
  • Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool will be an added advantage.
  • Ensures quantity and quality content in the Knowledgebase. Should be able to drive a KT and Transition plan effectively.
  • It will be an added advantage to have a candidate with knowledge of incident, problem and change management process.
  • Responsible for incident resolution for specific set of customers within the specified POD / Product / Project
  • Adheres to priority-based management based on impact + urgency.
  • Drive Service Improvement Plans and ensuring the Incident Management process is performed as designed

What we are looking for:

Work Experience

  • 7-9 years of work experience
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting.
  • Experience with working on Azure & understanding Azure landscape to Implement the product architecture effectively.
  • Nice to have – Proficiency in Windows/Unix commands and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding on Control-m, Service now

Communication

  • Associate has good English language Skills both verbal and written
  • Associates have expert customer service mindset - Being able to walk associates/customers through advanced tasks over the phone and dealing with difficult customers
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting.
  • Must have excellent organization and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to make modifications to the systems with no interruption of service.
  • Ability to organize projects and tasks according to priorities.
  • A person in this position should be a good project leader and could communicate effectively project plans and status of projects.
  • Must be self-motivated and enjoy a sense of pride in their accomplishments.

Miscellaneous

  • Able to work flexible hours (24x7), including evenings, weekends, night shifts as customer support requirements demand.
  • Should be willing to travel to customer sites for a short duration if the need arises.
