Key Responsibilities:
- Program Swiss-style CNC screw machines using G-code and CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit, Mastercam, or proprietary tools).
- Set up and operate Swiss screw machines to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for efficient machine operation.
- Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and in-process inspections to ensure part conformity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to ensure manufacturing standards are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation for setup sheets, programming notes, and tooling lists.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of CNC programming with Mazak and Mazatrol software.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and multi-axis machining operations.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot Mazak CNC lathes and mills.
- Proficiency in precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Understanding of materials, cutting tools, and machining best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
