The Host/Cashier is responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking reservations and listening to phone messages, seating guests, wiping down menus, counting number of diners, processing payment transactions for Servers including cash, credit cards, player’s points and complimentary vouchers. The Host/Cashier is responsible for updating seating charts, working closely with servers and cooks to ensure smooth delivery, and saying goodbye to guests as they leave. This position reports to the Manager.
Position Requirements
Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma, or GED. Must possess at least 1-2 years previous experience in a high- volume restaurant. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must have excellent communication skills. This position is responsible for seating guest in the restaurant according to the rotation requirements. Ability to maintain proper seating and reservations documentation.
