Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a part time Program Assistant for the Pediatric Fellowship Program at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Under the direction of the Residency/Fellowship Program supervisors, coordinates large, multiple and complex programs of more than 30 residents and fellows. Performs administrative duties as related to planning, oversight, and coordination of the academic, operational, and financial activities of the programs.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Assists with matters relating to the Pediatric Residency program as well as the Pediatric fellowship programs.
  • Assists with the development of timelines to monitor workflow; maintains accurate records of follow-up procedures and activities for all on-going administrative functions.
  • Prepares personnel and payroll forms for the residents, including staff transaction forms for newly hired Housestaff. Initiates changes and maintains appropriate personnel/payroll files. Processes Transport Payroll requests.
  • Prepares slides for conference presentations and programs.
  • Assists with input, creation and management of databases for specific projects, including ERAS program database.
  • Responsible for coordinating the monthly project calendar, including conferences, seminars, program site meetings, workshops, etc.

Mid Range Salary 30.450

Maximum Salary 35.910
