Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

• Packs wrapped or packaged products into shipping containers
• Following shipping specifications.
• Seals, glues, nails, labels, bands, and/or stencils shipping containers.
• Assure closure and proper protection and identification
• Access to export-controlled technology may be required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies using basic math skills.

Requirements

• 1-3 years Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for tracking inventory is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or material requirements planning (MRP) software is a plus.
• Ability to operate an order picker and pallet jack safely and effectively.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality control.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
