Nesco Resource is looking for a Machine/Press Operator located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM

Pay: $16.35/hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine/Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating production machinery and presses safely and efficiently, ensuring parts meet quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mechanical or hydraulic press machines according to production requirements
• Load/unload parts into machinery and perform routine quality checks
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and defects using basic measurement tools
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
• Follow all safety protocols and report any mechanical issues
• Complete documentation related to production and quality as required
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience operating machinery or presses in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and basic blueprints
• Micrometer or measurement tool experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math and mechanical skills
