Job Description
Role: Performance Test Engineer
Experience: 5-7 years of experience.
Location: BAN
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, K6, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to define performance testing requirements and strategies.
- Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks, scalability issues, and performance tuning opportunities.
- Use APM tools like Datadog or Dynatrace to monitor application performance and support root cause analysis.
- Leverage log analysis tools such as Kibana/Elasticsearch to identify trends, errors, and potential system issues.
- Integrate performance testing with CI/CD pipelines using Git and other automation tools.
- Utilize basic AWS services knowledge to simulate production-like test environments.
- Understand Kubernetes (K8s) architecture to support performance testing in containerized environments.
Required Skills:
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
- Must have strong experience with one or more load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6).
- Must have working experience on Git for version control.
- Must have experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools (Datadog, Dynatrace).
- Must have very good analytical and problem-solving skills with a performance mindset.
- Strong knowledge of log analysis using Kibana or Elasticsearch.
- Basic knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
- Understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) concepts and deployments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in scripting (Shell, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.
- Working experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
