About the Role:
If you have a great eye for details and are a perfect organiser this role can interest you. As a Regional Controller your main focus will be financially leading for region Central-West, being responsible for financial planning and business financial performance management.
Main Responsibilities:
Financial planning & Analysis
- Assist to prepare regional annual budget updates on volume, trade spending & Overheads with P&L stimulation based on key growth assumptions;
- Assist to conduct margin analysis by product category/brand/Route-to-Market channel to maximize bottom-line profit at regional level;
- Assist to drive ROI analysis by channel/brand/geographic/store type and identify improvement opportunities;
- Work closely with Area sales manager & regional key account team on season promotion plans by banner by city to improve investment efficiency;
- Support & coordinate Budget/SAF cycle, help to provide regional inputs to buildup HQ P&L model to identify key risk and opportunities.
- Ad hoc analysis/projects to support Regional Finance Controller & Regional Sales Manager;
Business Performance Management & Partnership
- Assist to prepare regional business performance review package for monthly reviews; Track monthly financial KPI by fortress city and conduct variance analysis with highlights to regional management team on opportunities & risks;
- Discuss financial KPI implications with relevant investment plan, market trend and competitor performance in monthly sales meetings;
- Co-work with regional SOP/ sales leaders and HQ controllers on Route-to-Market projects on evaluating financial impacts of city expansions & coverage
- initiatives, and make sure the full execution of HQ projects in regional level.
Financial Control & Compliance
- Assist to ensure regional Trade spend are controlled within the spending budget & company Guidelines;
- Act as the key connection with regional trade marketing and HQ accounting team on improving trade spending reimbursement process efficiency:
- Assist HQ GRC team with regional distributor audits on trade spending claims, in-store activities and help to drive correct sales behaviors according to Sales Team Management Rules.
Finance training & team communication
- Deliver regular Finance training to regional sales team with focus on finance knowledge & company policy; Strength collaboration with HQ Finance, Sales Operations, Trade marketing team & regional sales team and external business partners.
Who we are looking for:
- BA or above in accounting, fiance, or related degree. CPA, CMA or CIA preferred
- 5-10 years' experience in mult-national companies, FMCG/retail industry is a plus
- SAP/Essbase knowledge; strong Excel/PowerPoint expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Fluency in English is preferred.
- Detail oriented, good team player with positive working attitude
- Self-motivated with logical approach to problem solving
