Overview of the job

The integration Architect/Engineer leads the development of Integration Architecture to connect business applications across clouds/hosting in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The Integration Architect-Engineer must have deep and proven integration expertise as a core area of expertise. The candidate must have the ability to assess the business requirements and develop the integration solution to meet the need while working with Global business and technical implementation teams across integration technologies, cloud hosting network and security.

Your team

This role reports to Director- Integration lead and will part of a core integration team based in India which will work in close collaboration with a Global Integration team based in Asia, US , Europe and LA.

How success looks like

The candidate must have a visible positive impact in terms of technical leadership on large projects.

Drive establishment of a new Integration platform.

Architecting Integration design for a specific business area and also leading the detailed design and implementation.

Evaluating and crafting new technology solutions to meet the needs of an integration pattern/requirement.

Tight-knit collaboration with the team during and beyond the scope of specific initiatives.

Functional performance - The role will help in driving a well-defined area within Global Integration transformation initiatives e.g Transitioning from SAP PO to SAP integration Suite. Work within the project could include migrating a specific technology component or business domain working closely with an implementation partner.

Revenue and profits – Well defined contribution to TCO reduction goals of removing legacy technology of reducing project costs.

Time-based performance – Meeting or exceeding quarterly targets for SAP PO migration or other Integration projects.

Employee growth – 1) Lead a specific integration domain of expertise and be a recognized leader to deliver value within that domain. 2) Develop the team of experts and become a mentor to new team members growing the impact and area of influence.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Hands on expertise to craft and implement solutions using with SAP integration suite
  • Hands on expertise with SAP PO on development/engineering.
  • Engage in Global SAP Integration projects including migrations and new implementations
  • Evaluate business requirements and available integration technologies and propose strategic solution.
  • Architect & Engineer solutions including POC and evaluation of integration Technologies
  • Architect and design technical and business integration architecture applying combination of core integration patterns including– API, orchestration, messaging, B2B.
  • Ability to analyse the efficiency of architecture and solutions and recommend improvement.
  • Ability to assess integration needs for business solutions and design/architect and communicate solutions.
  • Design and code the Integration solutions for non-production deployment.
  • Collaborating in multi-functional teams to evaluate business activities and then develop innovative and effective approaches to tackle team’s Integration problems and communicate results and methodologies.
  • Lead technical execution of sophisticated integration initiatives.
  • Develop technical roadmaps and architecture for integration solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver Integration Solutions at Enterprise Scale
  • Build and communicate Architecture using Modelling tools like Visio.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science/Information Systems, Masters Preferred
  • SAP Certification for SAP PO/Integration Suite
  • Cloud Certification Azure
  • 7+ years Enterprise Integration experience in large Enterprises
  • Min 2 years of development experience
  • Minimum 4 years of SAP Integration experience including Process Orchestration and/or Integration Suite (BTP & Edge)
  • XI Proxy and IDOC
  • B2B Addon for EDI including Trading partner management
  • NetWeaver Gateway with OData services and S/4HANA APIs
  • Integration Suite – BTP/Edge Integration Cell
  • Cloud Connector
  • ABAP Development for Integrations
  • Experience must also include expertise in 2+ areas below:
  • Development: Java/.net, JavaScript, Python, .NETC#, C++
  • Enterprise Integration Platforms like TIBCO, Cloud IPaaS – BOOMI, MuleSoft,
  • External Connectivity EDI-B2B communication
  • Cloud native integration in Azure, Google Cloud, AWS
  • Messaging standards & protocols – SOAP/REST, JMS, AMQP, XML/JSON
  • API Management – APIGEE or similar
  • DevOPS including Github, Jenkins , Terraform or similar
  • Ability to work in a multi cloud hosting environment – Azure, AWS
  • Expertise in integration of large application platforms e.g SAP & Salesforce

Other Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of networking technologies (LAN/WAN), OSI Layers.
  • Security – SSL/TLS, OAuth, LDAP Active Directory, RBAC.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science/Information Systems, Masters Preferred
  • SAP Certification for SAP PO/Integration Suite
  • Cloud Certification Azure

Communication/Collaboration

  • Fluency in English,
  • Ability to work and collaborate across Global Teams
