Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Integrated Creative Solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based analytics platforms and data pipelines that efficiently acquire, cleanse, transform, and publish data from a diverse range of sources. The candidate will also lead a technical team primarily composed of vendors delivering our Analytics Studio solution. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing the creative asset creation and measurement processes to improve our overall efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and manage large, complex datasets that fulfill both functional and non-functional business requirements
- Collaborate with data asset managers, architects, and development leads to ensure technical solutions deliver high-quality, usable data in alignment with architectural blueprints
- Contribute to and adhere to coding standards and best practices, ensuring services and components are efficient, scalable, and reusable
- Identify opportunities for internal process improvements and implement solutions to enhance data workflows and analytics capabilities
- Support the measurement and optimization of creative assets through data-driven insights and analytics.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions
- Extensive experience with GCP and/or Azure cloud platforms, specifically BigQuery and related analytics tools
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a strong understanding of query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with data modeling, data partitioning, and data warehousing best practices
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow and Composer
- Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI and/or Looker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
