Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our products. You will be responsible for performing technical QA tasks including visual inspections, accurate documentation, and utilizing various equipment to ensure quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections to identify foreign materials, blemishes, or mold.
  • Document quality attributes such as size, color, brix, and defects with accuracy.
  • Utilize equipment like thermometers, refractometers, calipers, and metal detectors.
  • Perform checklists, swabbing, and line pre-operation inspections.
  • Follow sampling protocols for retained samples and pathogen testing.
  • Prepare and label samples for internal or third-party lab analysis.
  • Assist with ATP swabs or allergen swab testing.
  • Communicate non-conformance issues clearly to Production or QA Supervisor.
  • Assist with hold/reject processes and rework.
  • Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in quality assurance and quality control.
  • Proficiency in inspection, sampling, and testing methods.
  • Strong documentation and traceability abilities.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with QA logs, batch records, lot traceability, and hold/release tags.
  • Ability to perform digital entries using Excel, Google Sheets, or internal QA systems.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Work Environment

The work schedule consists of various shifts: A Shift (10am - 8:30pm) and B Shift (10am - 8:30pm) alternate weekly with different days off. C Shift (7:45pm - 6:30am) and D Shift (8:00pm - 6:30am) also rotate weekly. The work environment requires employees to adhere to dress codes appropriate for quality assurance activities and involves standing for extended periods.

This is a Contract position based out of Royal City, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
