Job Title: Injection Mold Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Injection Mold Technician who is experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and adept at using schematics for troubleshooting and repair. The role involves repairing electric circuits with a complete understanding of electrical schematic diagrams, performing predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine repairs on various production machinery and equipment. You will also be responsible for dismantling machinery to remove and replace or repair defective parts using hand and power tools. Effective communication with operators to identify breakdowns efficiently is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits using schematics.
  • Repair electric circuits with a full understanding of electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Perform predictive and preventive maintenance work on production machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantle machinery to remove and replace or repair defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Communicate effectively with operators to identify breakdowns quickly.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls.
  • Ability to troubleshoot using schematics.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use a volt meter.
  • Experience in Plastics, food & beverage, or automotive industries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with injection molding.
  • Experience with Husky Injection machines preferred.

Work Environment

Work in an FDA-regulated and temperature-controlled environment with new, automated machinery. While part of the plant is not temperature controlled and may get warm in the summer, most of the work will be near the equipment. The team consists of 24 maintenance technicians when fully staffed. You will need to provide your own basic set of tools. The position follows a 2/2/3 night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
