Job Title: 1st Shift Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator at a screw and fastener coating company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of screws by coating, strengthening, or adding nylon locks to them. This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Review work orders to determine specific alterations required by the client.
  • Set up and operate your assigned machine independently.
  • Perform quality checks on the product three times every hour and record findings accurately.
  • Adjust screws by coating them with protectants or colored paints for visibility.
  • Add plastic caps or nylon nuts to screws for added functionality.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in machine operation and general labor.
  • Proficiency in inspection and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ability to read English fluently and comprehend work instructions.
  • Bilingual capability in Spanish and English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable working with adhesives, glue, and acetone.
  • Experience in manufacturing and production environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.80 - $20.80/hr.
