Job Title: Rebar Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Rebar Fabricator to join our team in the re-bar department. This role involves working on the first shift to assist in the manufacturing of structural steel beams for both commercial and residential buildings. The position is outdoors frequently, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication of rebar cages and rails to ensure precise concrete placement.
• Operate industrial saws, drills, and other power tools.
• Use hand tools and air tools effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.
• Work with overhead cranes for material handling.
• Perform welding and fitting tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Mechanical aptitude, including experience with hand tools and air tools.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
• Competence in basic shop math, including adding fractions and converting them to decimals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction or carpentry.
• Familiarity with working in outdoor elements.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.

Work Environment

The work takes place in the back of the building, often in the yard, exposing the candidate to outdoor weather. The role involves a standard first shift schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
