Job Title: Forklift Operator (3rd Shift Picker)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated forklift operators for the 3rd shift (Monday to Friday, 8pm to 4:30am), with potential overtime on Saturdays. The role involves operating a stand-up forklift in a cold pick room to pick, load, unload, and move medical and pharmaceutical products as needed. You will also use an RF scan gun to pick orders, utilizing the WMS system in Manhattan. The cold room operates at 44-45 degrees, and duties include brief intervals in the freezer at -20 degrees. You will alternate between the cold room and freezer throughout your shift. Cold suits, including pants, jackets, and gloves, are provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts to handle medical and pharmaceutical products.
• Use RF scan guns to pick orders accurately.
• Load and unload products efficiently.
• Manage inventory and material handling.
• Work primarily in a cold room, with periodic shifts in a freezer.
• Utilize the WMS system for order management.
• Ensure safety and efficiency in handling materials.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in forklift operation, particularly stand-up forklifts.
• Experience with RF scanners and order picking.
• Familiarity with inventory management and material handling.
• Ability to work in cold environments and handle freezer duties.
• Comfort with working at heights.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in cold rooms or freezers is highly advantageous.
• Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90/hr.
