We are inviting applications for the role of Process Associate – Underwriting / Broker Technical Support Specialist

Your role will require you to utilize your skills to process transactions for the Underwriting / Broker Support Teams. You will require to the processing with expected accuracy and within the expected timelines as per the business requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction processing for Broker support team (Wholesale ops)
  • Monitor and attend to requests via service platforms that require action in a timely manner
  • Responsible to comprehend, good customer service attitude to clearly articulate the resolution.
  • Responsible to balance dynamic volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis.
  • Ensure repository of record is accurate and current to ensure outputs and client deliverables will be produced according to guidelines and policy detail.
  • Operational support with multiple activities for client service teams
  • Perform necessary activities to support broking teams in collaborating with account management to initiate a renewal, preparing and submitting marketing proposals to underwriters, processing endorsements and Policy Checking requests

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate with an excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Should understand Basics of Insurance (if experienced)
  • Demonstrate and cultivate customer focus, collaboration, accountability, initiative, and innovation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote)
  • Proficient in English language- both written (Email writing) and verbal
  • A strong attention to detail; analytical skills and the ability to multi-task are important

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • Candidate having Broker (US P&C insurance) experience would be an asset
  • A strong attention to detail; analytical skills and the ability to multi-task are important
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure
