Job Description & Summary: At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Responsibilities:
Mandatory skill sets: · 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Management and DevOps engineering roles. · Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP with hands-on experience in provisioning, networking, IAM and cost optimization. · Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI. · Strong command over Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools – Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef. · Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container-based application deployment. · Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch or Datadog. · Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell). · Experience in consulting environments, including client engagement, requirement gathering and solution presentation.
Preferred skill sets: · Prior experience in consulting for Government/PSU clients, public cloud migrations or hybrid infrastructure models. · Exposure to DevSecOps, governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance mandates (e.g., DPDP, CERT-In). · Experience with high availability, disaster recovery and enterprise-grade infrastructure design. · Understanding of Agile and ITIL methodologies in infrastructure service delivery. · Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
Years of experience required: · Minimum 8 years of experience in Infrastructure and DevOps, with at least 2-3 years in a consulting or client-facing role.
Education qualification: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or a related field. · Master’s degree in IT/Technology Management or Cloud/DevOps-related specialization is a plus. · Technical certifications in DevOps and Cloud platforms are highly desirable.
