PROJECT SUMMARY:
Our clients Data Office is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Developer to join its growing team. The Data Office is leading a central Data Modernization program that will include new central data capabilities, as well as improvements and coordination with its 12 constituent agencies. Under the direction of the Director of Data Strategy and working closely with teams, the Artificial Intelligence Developer will support the design, development and implementation of AI-Powered solutions. The initial focus will be on supporting pilot use cases, proof of concept projects and providing insights that can be leveraged to create best practices and training.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Artificial Intelligence Developer will support the Data Office in its efforts to better achieve our mission through the adoption of AI. The Artificial Intelligence Developer will provide input on best practices and potential efficiencies, work on multiple assignments concurrently to meet aggressive due dates. The Artificial Intelligence Developer will use a range of expert technical skills based on a keen knowledge of generative artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts (GenAI/ML), and must be proficient with AWS AI tools, SQL, Python, R, Snowflake and/or other GenAI/ML Tools. This resource needs to have hands on experience developing, deploying and maintaining AI tools/systems. This resource will also be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the development of requirements as agencies move ahead with moving proven test cases into production. In the initial stages of the engagement, the Artificial Intelligence Developer will be expected to work with business teams to develop proof of concept solutions, provide subject matter expertise while gathering requirements and communicate effectively to ensure strong stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a maturing landscape and can use their developer skills and business understanding to create viable and valuable solutions.
