Job Description:

QA Automation Analyst

Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA Automation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, writing, and executing automated tests for web-based payment processing systems, APIs, third-party integrations, and point-of-sale hardware. You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, product owners, and leadership in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript.
  • Test web applications, APIs, and hardware integrations to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
  • Ensure test coverage and traceability across all functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results in alignment with QA best practices.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for the quality of deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Cypress and TypeScript for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of API testing and integration validation.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and version control systems like GitLab/GitHub.
  • Familiarity with full system development life cycle and structured testing methodologies.
  • Ability to write and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or collaborative team environment.
