Wachter is accepting applications for a Purchasing Administrative Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcoming/greeting visitors, helping them navigate through our office, and coordinating with various teams and managers with their respective visitors.
  • Assist in maintaining calendars for appointments.
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Ordering office supplies and placing internal supply stock room.
  • Assist the purchasing team with entering/updating Purchase Orders and pricing in accounting software.
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets in Excel.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Reception, general, office administration, clerical and travel coordination preferred, but not required.
  • Organized and detail oriented. Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic networking terminology and product descriptions. Must interact well
  • in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License
