To support our transformation and growth in Europe, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with engineering background to look after key projects across Europe with an initial focus on the Netherlands.

This is a new addition to our Engineering team, and you would be joining Lineage during an exciting period of growth and innovation, with the opportunity to make an immediate, meaningful impact.

What you will be doing

As Senior Project Manager EU, you will lead, plan, and execute highly complex technical projects (CAPEX categories: economic return, energy and maintenance) related to our cold storage warehouses across Europe.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams being the pivot between internal customers, suppliers, and local teams to monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure the successful delivery of projects using the Lineage Project Model and report/consult with the set Steering Committee.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary tools and support to succeed.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and accountability.
• Establish timelines and milestones, monitoring progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and consensus.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential obstacles to schedules, budget, and scope on high complex projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and challenges on high complex projects.
• Implement processes and tools for monitoring project performance and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Promote a culture of safety within the teams.

Who we’re looking for

Being responsible for projects across Europe, you must be able to travel to other countries

To be successful in this position, we need you to have:

• Great leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to negotiate contracts in an international context
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver results.

You will also have:

• Degree in engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical/industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale, high-impact projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in leading teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
• Technical background such as mechanical engineering, automation engineering

And of course, proficiency in English is essential.
