This Position reports to:

Global Service Owner for Network Service

Your roles and responsibilities:

The Network Security Architect will design, implement, and optimize comprehensive network security solutions to protect the organization’s global IT infrastructure. This role focuses on leveraging Zero Trust principles, advanced firewall technologies, SASE frameworks, and IDS/IPS systems to safeguard critical assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in network security, a strategic mindset, and the ability to align security solutions with business objectives in a complex, multi-vendor environment.

This role is contributing to the IS Services in Bangalore Location.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design and maintain network security architectures based on Zero Trust principles, including identity-based segmentation, micro-segmentation, and secure access controls integrated with IAM systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
• Configure, optimize, and manage advanced firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point) and design/deploy SASE solutions (Zscaler, Netskope, Cato Networks) to secure on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environment
• Deploy and manage IDS/IPS systems (Snort, Suricata, Cisco Secure IPS), tune detection rules, analyze alerts, and coordinate incident response with cybersecurity teams.
• Ensure network security solutions comply with standards like GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001; conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and maintain security documentation.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid network architectures, integrating security controls seamlessly across environments
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security teams, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and effectively communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qulaifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 8-10 years in network security with 4-6 years focused on Zero Trust, firewalls, SASE, IDS/IPS; preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, CEH, PCNSE, NSE 7, GIAC.
• Good Communication skills.
• Team handling experience.
