Job Summary

This position is responsible for helping Population Health Services Organization and the Mass General Brigham broader health system solve issues, create value, and improve business performance. This role will also contribute to the design and development of new clinical solutions to deliver value for the delivery system, healthcare purchases, and populations under management.

Responsible for conducting market and competitive intelligence research, building financial models, forming business cases, informing strategy for value-based care, and designing and developing clinical solutions from ideation to implementation across the system. An important project for this role is supporting the development of the CMS TEAM surgical programs across MGB.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct market research, competitor review, and financial analysis to develop opportunity assessments, lead the development of business cases and operating/capital budget with forecasted effect on revenue and contract performance.
  • Integrate business needs and opportunities into programs development that track to KPIs and targets that support MGB's achievement of value based care contract performance goals.
  • Develop project plans and timelines and manage to deadlines and milestones
  • Develop key business questions to frame program development and support performance management of programs
  • Develop financial models to inform population health strategy and solutions.
  • Manage performance of programs to KPIs, support evaluation of program, and scale program in an financial effective and impactful manner
  • Develop executive level slide presentations that are polished and that cogently and effectively communicate strategy, programs, performance, recommendations that are visually pleasing and easy to digest
  • High executive function and clear and concise communications

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration required and Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Experience

  • Experience in healthcare strategy, business planning/ROI, consulting, new program/product development. 5-7 years required and Experience using financial information to build business case analysis and presentation. 2-3 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Conduct market research, competitor review, and financial analysis to develop opportunity assessments, lead the development of business cases and operating/capital budget with forecasted effect on revenue and contract performance.
  • Translate business needs and opportunities into strategies and tactics in support of broader value-based care goals with an assessment of requirements, feasibility, and timeline.
  • Develop key business questions to frame analytics and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop financial models to inform population health strategy and solutions Perform product planning for new clinical products, based on competitive analysis, primary research, operational and technical analysis, and business case formulation.
  • Excellent powerpoint skills that are executive level ready, clear, and effective
  • Excellent with storytelling and integrating strategy with operations
