- Plans and leads work of 3-4 Academic Program staff including Instructional Design team and Academic Administrative Professionals responsible for academic program services.
- Provides training, direction and instruction to staff and conducts performance evaluations.
- Monitors KPIs established by Deans for Office of Academic Programs. Inspires staff through positive leadership, aligned with Dean strategic direction, to maintain high performance and high employee morale to gain cooperation on policies and standards.
- Responsible for reviewing program evaluation completed by Instructional Designers and Program Directors to monitor program effectiveness.
- Reviews student course evaluations each semester.
- Analyzes trends in program and course evaluations and recommends solutions to improve programs.
- Works within College of Nursing and across University to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on policies, standards, and processes.
- Inspires staff to write policies and procedures to systematize work and provide infrastructure.
- Observes for cross-training opportunities for staff and how to improve efficiency of staff functions.
- Under Associate Dean accountability, responsible for submitting CCNE substantive changes and State Board Of Nursing (SBON) program or process change updates requiring approvals, including all new program applications for SBON.
- Assists with CCNE accreditation reports including CIPR and self-study. Oversees data input for annual SBON report.
- Active member of Curricular Transformation Oversight Executive committee, engaging with faculty, course leads, program directors, Division Chairs, staff in curricular transformation to Competency Based Education.
- Leads faculty development related to Competency Assessment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with diverse groups/individuals at all levels within the college and university. Must handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Knowledge of Regent, University, College of Nursing policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Competency Based Education and curriculum design and evaluation.
- Ability to manage staff.
- Expertise in application of technology platforms used within the College of Nursing and University, ability to write reports from data, vision for automating processes
