At Danske Bank, we are implementing our strategy “Turn To New Tech,” focusing on migrating our technology stack to cloud-native solutions. If you are passionate about developing event-driven architectures and distributed microservices, we want to hear from you.
Who are we?
Customer Capabilities is a Tribe, which consists of around 100 employees organised in cross-functional teams across Denmark, Poland, and India. We are dedicated to delivering effective end-to-end solutions for both our external customers and internal users.
You will be part of the Cloud Archive team, which consists of six software engineers and a product owner, all located in Aarhus.
We are building a greenfield archive solution for the bank, gradually replacing the existing archive system that holds billions of documents and serves hundreds of millions of requests yearly, featuring a performant API, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, generating cost savings, and allowing for the integration of new features to meet evolving business needs.
What’s in it for you?
You will join an agile and autonomous squad responsible for building and maintaining our cloud-based archive solutions. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in handling high-traffic systems, as you will design and implement systems that manage large-scale data storage and retrieval. You will focus on creating a highly scalable and elastic solution that prioritises performance and optimises response times, supporting a wide array of business capabilities. Additionally, you will have the chance to build and deploy solutions natively to AWS using cutting edge technologies including GitHub Copilot, Java 24, ECS clusters, S3 buckets, Grafana k6 and more.
What do we imagine about you?
What makes us interesting?
