Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming to satisfy business requirements. Provide support to the application by analyzing issues, finding root causes of production issues and providing resolution to the issues. Research new technologies, identify and learn best practices, and provide technical guidance to team members. Adapt DevOps model of continuous and automated integration, test and delivery. Work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solution across regions. Provide application support and weekday releases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Developing software and microservices using Java and Spring Framework that gets deployed as a REST API; Designing and building telemetry and usage tracking solutions using Grafana, Dynatrace, Cortex and Splunk Loggers to improve tool governance and monitoring; Developing application to challenge customers and prevent fraud in all channels using Java 17 with Multi-Threading programming, SiteMinder, CA-LDAP, ForgeRock Authentication/Authorization systems, Spring Boot, Maven and Jenkins; Building applications that utilizes JSON and parse it to process the transactional data and store the records in NoSQL; DB, Cassandra DB and Shell Scripting; Developing application using Test driven development frameworks including JUnit's for Unit test, Component test using Cucumber and Wire mock; Contract testing with pact flow; Performance and load test using JMeter; Blazemeter and Resiliency test leveraging Chaos engineering; Using on-prem private cloud to deploy the applications to Cloud foundry and public cloud to AWS Services including EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Route53, CloudFormation and CloudWatch, and Terraform; Spinnaker, Kubernetes and Karpenter frameworks; Performing Data Analytics by publishing data from Cassandra into Kafka and Apache Zookeeper for processing it downstream to firm data lake for data analytics; Preparing low level designs in Confluence across the whole Software Development Life Cycle and Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Performing demonstrations of the delivered product to all teams.
