The Regulatory Product and Compliance team confronts these risks by ensuring we adjust our business model to not only meet shifting external regulatory requirements, but to also up-level the DP experience at every opportunity.

The person hired into this role will work across partner tech, product, and program teams to audit, monitor, and report on all regulatory compliance programs for the Americas. This individual will be responsible for identifying and addressing risks across programs and will be a trusted leader in ensuring the future of the Flex business continues to surpass external regulatory requirements.

Key job responsibilities

Work with partner teams (e.g., Tech, Legal, Last Mile Regulatory Strategy) and regional business leaders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our business and the applicable external regulatory requirements.

Ensure you are across all partner tech and program teams’ work regarding any features that touch upon regulatory requirements to streamline work across Last Mile and to reduce regulatory risk.

Set up mechanisms to accurately track and report on regulatory product and program work worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
