The Regulatory Product and Compliance team confronts these risks by ensuring we adjust our business model to not only meet shifting external regulatory requirements, but to also up-level the Delivery Partner experience at every opportunity.

The person hired into this role will work with partner tech, program, and project teams, business leaders, and the Last Mile Regulatory Strategy team to identify and execute on new regulatory requirements within any geo Amazon Flex has operations. To successfully navigate through this role and its responsibilities, this person should have prior experience working in product management, preferably in Last Mile. The ideal candidate will be required to swing from product management to program management seamlessly, as we are responsible for the entire deliverable (meeting a regulatory requirement) but count on partner teams (such as tech) to meet our goals, requiring extensive stakeholder management and bias for action.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work with partner teams (e.g., Tech, Legal, Last Mile Regulatory Strategy) and regional business leaders to develop regulatory product strategies to meet and exceed external regulatory requirements (in pursuit of the best DP experience).
  • Ensure you are across all partner tech and program teams’ work regarding any features that touch upon regulatory requirements to streamline work across Last Mile and to reduce regulatory product risk.
  • Set up mechanisms to accurately track and report on regulatory product work worldwide.
  • Work with partner and business teams to deliver products and features that address new regulatory requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
