Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our CNC department as a machinist. The role involves operating, programming, and setting up CNC 3-axis/4-axis mills. The ideal candidate will utilize GibbsCAM for programming, perform setups, edit codes, and operate the machines. This position requires a high level of expertise in CNC setups and programming, with the ability to manage multiple setups efficiently throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Program CNC mills using GibbsCAM.
  • Set up CNC 3-axis/4-axis mills, adjusting settings as required.
  • Edit machine codes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
  • Change tooling in CNC mills as necessary.
  • Support the operation of machines, especially during the second shift when supervision is minimal.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in CNC programming, specifically using GibbsCAM.
  • Ability to perform setup and operation of CNC 3/4-axis mills.
  • Experience in changing tooling and editing machine codes.
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC mill setup and operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
