About this opportunity

We are looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing planning, design and optimization of a network to meet customer requirements.

Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

What you will do

• Optimize wireless network performance through parameter tuning, interference mitigation, and capacity planning.
• Analyze network KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and propose optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain tools/scripts in Java or Python for network monitoring, automation, and data processing.
• Work with RF planning, drive test data, and network logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate optimization solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies (5G, IoT, AI/ML) and their impact on network optimization.

You will bring

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in wireless network optimization (4G/5G, Wi-Fi, or similar).
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python (experience with frameworks like Django/Flask is a plus).
• Experience with data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and visualization tools (Matplotlib, Tableau).
• Knowledge of machine learning for predictive analysis in networks is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
