Technical Solution Architect, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Lead the development and execution of technical strategies and approaches for high-impact opportunities within the Global Defense market from 18 months prior solicitation through proposal submission, ensuring alignment with client mission needs and priorities and acquisition and technical requirements. Act as a key member of the Market Growth and Development Team applying your technical expertise and strategic thinking to architect innovative, mission-aligned solutions for large-scale, complex procurements. Collaborate with capture managers, capture solution architects, proposal teams, and teammates, as required, to develop winning arguments and differentiated storylines resulting in compliant, compelling, and cost-effective proposals. Lead teams responsible for conducting technical assessments, market research, and competitive analysis to inform solution design and price-to-win strategies. Develop white papers, technical call plans, and other pre-solicitation artifacts to influence client requirements and acquisition approaches. Lead solutioning sessions with SMEs and integrate inputs into cohesive technical narratives and artifacts, while managing proposal schedules, color reviews, compliance matrices, and risk mitigation efforts. Provide guidance, input, and feedback to all technical contributors, and seek feedback to continuously improve content and content development processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical solutioning, business development, or capture roles within the federal government contracting space
  • Experience leading technical solution development from early opportunity shaping through proposal submission translating mission needs into actionable technical strategies and approaches that differentiate a proposal
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional teams with minimal oversight
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Government acquisition process and procurement strategies
  • Ability to develop and articulate complex technical solutions in analytics, digital transformation, engineering, or cyber domains
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the Global Defense market or similar mission-focused federal clients
  • Experience with agile development, cloud architectures, and emerging technologies in the national defense space
  • Experience with technical writing and client presentation
  • Experience with technical solutioning for classified environments
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
  • Master's degree preferred

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
