Job Summary

Provides expert-level planning and execution for the organization’s short-term objectives. As a senior leader, this role involves strategic influence, managing complex planning processes, and optimizing cross-departmental operations. It requires exceptional analytical, leadership, and strategic capabilities to address high-level challenges and drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Plan Integration: Lead the development of tactical plans that integrate seamlessly with
  • high-level strategic goals.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between departments for all tactical
  • planning initiatives.
  • Advanced Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation at a macro level to ensure
  • optimal execution.
  • Execution Oversight: Manage large-scale, complex tactical plans with high visibility and impact.
  • Performance Optimization: Define advanced metrics and analytics to measure and enhance plan
  • effectiveness.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate complex risks and develop comprehensive contingency plans.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver strategic-level reports and insights to the executive team.
  • Process Innovation: Lead the evolution of tactical planning practices across the organization.
  • Strategic Planning Collaboration: Collaborate with the Strategic Planning Manager to synthesize
  • and summarize the strategic goals and initiatives of each business unit and functional group. Ensure alignment and coherence in the strategic narratives that are presented to regional and global headquarters.
  • Strategic Alignment Monitoring: Monitor and report on the alignment of tactical plans with the overarching company strategy, making recommendations for realignment where necessary to ensure consistency and support of corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in tactical planning, project management or related experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes, cross-functional projects.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in strategic planning tools and systems.
  • Visionary approach to process improvement and innovation.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices (depending on the industry).
  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate project timelines.

Salary $137,000-$172,000.
