The Opportunity:

CACI has need to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide the customer a primary POC for first line of troubleshooting and repair for all associated systems. The on-site would be considered a System Matter Expert capable of providing operational and technical expertise. Act as a liaison between the customer and company regarding any issue requiring resolution which is beyond the on-sites current capabilities. (Distant troubleshooting support, additional documentation, parts etc.). Additionally, will provide oversight for on-site spare part reserved for failed parts. Make recommendation for the increase or addition of additional components. This would ensure spare parts are routinely inventoried, properly tracked, maintained, and accounted and could reduce company travel need for inventory purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • POC for all upgrades, to include assisting in maintaining red line diagrams and temporary documentation for operations and troubleshooting pending formal documentation delivery.
  • Will provide maintenance oversight to the customer to ensure maintenance is accomplished correctly. This would include ensuring a schedule of PMS is maintained, tracked, and provides a document of historical completion of PMS providing documentation and data to annotate any abnormal failures or high failure rates.
  • Have an overall understanding of the responsibility of boundaries between all invested parties which have responsibilities.
  • Assist the customer with the development of training products (one-line diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, etc) to aide in the training and qualification of operators.
  • Maintains a document library for use by the end user.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A Top Secret DOD Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
  • BS Degree in a related field with a minimum of ten years of experience or fifteen years of related experience.
  • Experience with close communications with senior-level officers as well as field technicians.
  • Experience with mobile communication systems to include RF, commercial SATCOM, and specialized GFE communications systems
  • Experience with Government entities to include enlisted military personnel and contractors
  • Demonstration of strong leadership skills, minimum 5 years

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,100 - $147,400
