Now Hiring 2nd & 3rd Shift: Machine Operators & Production Helper/ Packager

Job Description: 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm) OR 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am) - Receiving Weekly Pay!

The role involves operating production machinery in a food production environment, specifically focused on making tortillas for prominent companies in the metro area of Minnesota. The candidate must adhere to strict hygiene standards, including wearing a full gown and hair net, and avoiding jewelry or other items that could potentially contaminate food.

Responsibilities

• Turn on equipment and verify that it is running properly, notifying the appropriate supporting department if any issues are noted.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper size and weights.
• Verify and confirm recipes, seasoning, weights, size, and accuview settings according to ERP System (Plex) requirements for all changeovers and product runs.
• Accurately fill out production paperwork and maintain ERP System (Plex) requirements.
• Record waste accurately, troubleshooting if settings are incorrect.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
• Participate actively in Food Safety and Food Defense related activities.
• Assist the sanitation department with equipment cleaning and ensure parts are properly reassembled.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food production machine operating, preferably with mixing experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills for entering information into the ERP system.
• Commitment to consistent attendance and a desire to advance in a career.
• Ability to lift between 30-55 lbs consistently.
• Comfortable working in a warm environment that can reach up to 100 degrees.
• Basic English language skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment

The work environment is a food production setting that can reach temperatures of up to 100 degrees. Employees will be working with formula and dough, so there can be gluten particles in the air. The role requires standing for up to 8 hours a day and adhering to strict hygiene standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.50/hr.
