Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on ServiceNow Platform Solution Architect who will be responsible for both designing robust ServiceNow platform solutions and leading their end-to-end development and implementation. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring platform best practices, security, and performance. This hybrid role combines deep technical expertise with architectural vision to drive digital transformation across the enterprise.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead architecture, design, and hands-on development of ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and custom applications.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Develop, customize, and configure workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, integrations, and custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and administrators, conduct code/design reviews and ensure adherence to platform standards and best practices.
  • Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and integration tools.
  • Ensure platform security by managing users, roles, groups, ACLs, and adhering to compliance guidelines.
  • Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation, including solution diagrams and interface specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex ServiceNow platform issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases, new features, industry trends, and actively recommend enhancements and optimizations.
  • Communicate solution options, architectural decisions, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings, daily scrums, and provide regular status updates to project managers and leadership.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.) required ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Integration Hub, and MID Server configuration.
  • Proven experience with end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle, custom APIs).
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, security, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops, gather requirements, and deliver scalable, robust ServiceNow solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross- functionally in a global environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Experience with client contract management and vendor relationships is a plus.
